Blake is a low sofa-back table with y-shaped metal legs. Available in a rectangular model in various sizes or in an unusual l-shaped version, it’s a perfect addition for a double sided sofa placed in the middle of the living room. The top comes in six gorgeous marbles or in a burned oak finish, all stylish finishes selected to suit high end sofas and sectionals.
Created by Italian designer Adriano Castiglioni, Blake is part of a collection of side and coffee tables characterised by a rational construction. The structure that supports the tabletop is built with a metal frame consisting of two y-shaped pedestals connected by a horizontal spreader. A type of construction that was made iconic by American architect and designer Charles Eames and widely adopted by Italian modernism during the 50s and 60s.
The top boasts a 45° cut edge. Oak is a great choice for mid-century inspired living rooms, while marbles will set an immediate luxe level to any setting. For a contemporary twist go for the RAL colours and customize this behind-the-sofa table in any neutral, pastel or accent tone.
