Nodding to mid-century curvaceous design, but balanced with clean organic lines, Sound is a modern curved designer sofa with a sinuous backrest available in two styles. The sectional corner sofa sports an asymmetrical back with one side higher than the other, while the 3 seater boasts an enveloping shape where back and arms are joined in one piece.
The one-cushion seat is low and rests atop circular recessed wooden legs that convey a sense of lightness. Both the 250 cm linear and the corner models have a peculiar boomerang design which infuses the sofa with a striking futuristic - yet inspired by vintage "serpentine" sofas from the 60s - style.
An iconic piece of furniture by Italian designer Umberto Asnago, this sofa is a statement piece for contemporary interiors, and it's ready to become the focal point in the living room. Best styled floating in the middle of the room, Sound is a compact settee with an essential, yet sculptural silhouette. Its shape is definitely designed to stand out, but also for lounging and enjoying a conversation area made for you and your guests.
You can design your own Sound choosing from a range of modules: straight, corner, footstools and chaise longues will allow for custom solutions tailored to your room. Plus, the huge choice of fabrics, leathers and jewel toned velvets, will offer an array of colours to pick from. The final touch will be the matching throw cushions, offered in many sizes and hues.
