Milano is a modern wooden base designer modular sofa available in fabric, velvet and leather. It sports high legs and luxurious feather filled cushions. It comes in two models: one with ornamental throw cushions, the other without. Its contemporary lines and eclectic aesthetics is customizable in endless designs. In addition to the 2/3/4/5-seater sofas, the possible configurations include large L-shaped or corner sofas, chaise end models, open end pieces or asymmetrical options that incorporates pouffes and can reach up to 8, 10 or more seats.
Created for Bodema by Italian designer Giuseppe Manzoni, Milano combines countless design possibilities with impeccable appearances: this is the result of our craftsmen's attention to detail combined with the use of excellent raw materials. Roomy, welcoming and comfy, the seating area is generously padded with Etichetta Oro feathers, which are channelled and wrapped around a foam core. The same filling is in the back cushions, which are available in two versions. The more formal model has the back and seat cushions in the same width. The Milano Pillow version, more informal, incorporates smaller back cushions that allow to see through and have a glimpse of the outer back.
The base of the sofa consists of a wooden structure with slightly splayed legs that raise the sofa off the ground, lightening up its design. The ash wood platform is a distinguishing feature and comes in an elegant wengé finish.
