Mr President is a modular sofa with goose down cushions, featuring a comfortable backrest and seats and 20 or 30 cm wide armrests, elevated off the floor by visible metal bracket feet. Also available in the linear 2 / 3-seater version, the sofa can be created in L-shape compositions with a chaise-longue or dormeuse, with a straight or curved corner with a single armrest, or with an irregular panoramic end element. As an optional element, a sofa side table can also be incorporated.
New to the collection, Mr President was born from the collaboration with the designer Adriano Castiglioni, who designed an extremely comfortable and refined living room sofa for Bodema. Creating an island of relaxation, the sofa manages to harmoniously blend comfort and aesthetics. Comfort is an essential value of the product, guaranteed by the mixed filling which gives body to the sofa structure. This is in fact made with a polyurethane base which, despite the abundant quantity of goose down, makes the seats non-deformable but comfortable and welcoming. The inspiration for contemporary design, however, shines through the elegance of the proportions and the balance of the forms. These are highlighted by the bold geometries of the low armrests and rigid back structure, which are softened by the seat and backrest cushions and lightened by the minimalism of the perpendicular metal supports that elevate the sofa.
Characterised by proportions designed specifically to accommodate the body, and carefully selected materials to provide a satisfying sitting experience, practicality of use was not overlooked in the design of Mr President. Designed for everyday use, the sofa has completely removable covers - both in the fabric and leather versions - an advantage in terms of maintenance of the chosen upholstery. Added to this is the possibility of equipping the seats with a range of accessories and complements, aesthetically similar to the sofa style. In addition to the original armrest container, perfect for use as a magazine holder or multi-purpose integrated side table, the collection includes a series of coffee tables and consoles with a modern design, ideal for creating a perfectly coordinated sitting room.
