Drawing on influences both vintage and current, Douglas is a sectional raised leg sofa with a comfortable high backrest made of loose cushions featuring a buttonless single line tufting. The box seat t-cushions are goose feather filled and have a classic flair about them, which goes well with the tufted back pillow and tall feet. The high-quality upholstery materials include removable fabric, velvet or leather, selected to suit any home decor. It can be configured as a 2, 3, 4, 5 and more seater sofa, a corner or L-shaped sectional. The tapered legs are high and can be made in wood or black finished metal.
Inspired by the clean lines of 1960s upholstered furniture, its design borrows some of the stylistic features of modern mid-century sofas giving them a contemporary twist through wider seats and more generous proportions. The aim is to give a sense of cosiness and to create a comfortable sofa with cosy goose feather back cushions.
Douglas lends itself to modern living rooms that wink at the past. The result is a product devoted to comfort and informal seating.
Although seams might seem mere functional elements, the true star of this piece is the tufting. A tribute to the famous buttoned Chesterfield sofas, this detailing is deliberately button-less to adapt to contemporary design trends.

Wood frame padded with crushproof polyurethane foam and velour fabric. Suspension system made of interwoven strips of webbing.
Filling

Seat cushions in D35 polyurethane foam core topped by a blanket of channelled goose feathers. Back cushions in D30 polyurethane foam core and compartmented goose feathers.
Legs

Black Nickel finished metal, wengé or walnut finished wood.
Upholstery

Removable cover available in fabric, velvet and leather.
