New to the Bodema collection, Lotus is a modern swivel armchair with a quilted cover which can be removed, available in fabric or leather, curved armrests and a central spoke base. Designed in collaboration with Italian designer Michele Mantovani, it presents itself as an original sitting room armchair for a reading corner, capable of offering a relaxing sitting experience without sacrificing aesthetics, in line with contemporary trends.
To guarantee the best comfort, the curved wooden structure is equipped with two large and welcoming cushions, made even more comfortable by precious quilting that evokes the artisanal excellency typical of the Italian manufacturing tradition. Added to this is the special shape of the armrests, folded inwards to provide a space-saving support surface that does not affect the overall width - and consequently the size - of the complement. Impeccable ergonomics, and impeccable in design. This is demonstrated by the perfect balance of volumes and proportions, the decorative cord applied to the profiles and the fine, grey-stained metal support which, from the centre of the seat, gently branches into 4 thin feet.
Designed to also furnish the relaxation corner of a bedroom, a guest room or a professional studio, Lotus can be customised in numerous colour and material variations. It is beautiful when upholstered in fabric, both in plain colours and with a mélange effect, and promises interesting results if covered in leather or velvet. The variety of colours ranges from traditional white, black, brown, burgundy and grey to the more current sage green, burnt orange, purple and petroleum, without excluding refined variations in pastel, neutral and natural shades.
