Valentino is a retro inspired 2 / 3 seater art deco style sofa bed. It features a fixed camel back, a single cushion tight seat, tapered block wood legs and gently flared arms. It turns into a single bed, a small double or a standard double bed.
Sporting a vintage look, it reminds of traditional tub sofas but with more visual interest added to it: the curved sloping backrest, the pleated folds skillfully hand made by our crafty upholsterers, the luxurious range of jewel toned velvet upholstery, immediately place it in refined settings.
Available in fabric and leather too, it offers an array of materials and colours for classy and informal interiors alike. Exquisite in vibrant velvet, it will take on an elegant French provençal allure in white or grey fabrics. Go for an herringbone textile to veer towards a country cottage mood, or make a luxury statement with real leathers. Valentino has two souls. The first, that of a 2 or 3 seater designer sofa inspired by great classics. The second, invisible, is a Lampolet metal action mechanism that allows to transform the couch into a single or double bed in various sizes. Plus, you can add a cover to conceal the metal parts.
Unlike other convertible sofas, this has a fixed backrest and opens up by lifting the seat, pulling it towards you and then downwards. This way the electro-welded bed base and mattress are easily and effortlessly folded out.
The formal seating cushions are filled in polyurethane foam, while the built-in bed offers a traditional sprung mattress providing the best support for the spine while sleeping.
