Night&Day is a 2-3 seater pillow back sofa bed, with a single seat cushion and high slim arms with decorative seams that add visual interest to the piece. Its boxed sided seat is completed with loose ruffle-edge back cushions enriched with a modern non-curled frill. Available in width 170, 190 or 210 cm, it converts into a large single, small double or standard double bed.
The one-piece seating gives more room for snuggling comfortably, transmitting a sense of cosiness that is enhanced by the pillow-like generous backrest. By keeping the arms narrow, the sofa bed feels small but in fact is a 2 / 3 seater that turns into a double bed with proper mattresses, with more sitting and sleeping room and less footprint taken up on the floor.
With its relaxed, casual look, the sofa bed has a shabby chic flair. But behind this romantic facade there’s a metal action with an easy opening system and a Simmons pocket sprung mattress worthy of a real bed. 13 cm high with independent springs, it’s packed with elastic and resilient coils all sewn inside independent pockets. Thanks to the innovative Lap-seal technology the mattress offers ergonomic support and limits the annoying motion transfer that occurs when changing sleep position. Such a comfortable mattress is matched by a sophisticated patented mechanism by italian brand Lampolet.
