Claretta is a small armchair with metal legs with a hybrid identity: a cocktail armchair for the living room, but also a padded chair with armrests to pair with a majestic table with a sculptural design. Together with Clara and Clarissa, it forms a collection of living room, bedroom and dining room seats created by the Italian designer Umberto Asnago, with the aim of creating a coherent stylistic concept in different domestic environments.
Claretta features a slim structure, which with a width of just over 60 cm contains all the essence of a modern armchair: the challenge for Claretta was to offer a small-sized furnishing solution while meeting aesthetic expectations. The result is a versatile and space-saving complement, characterised by a narrow and formal seat, shaped armrests to ensure optimal support and a metal load-bearing structure, whose high feet help to further lighten the appearance of the padded components.
A point of contact between Bodema's savoir-faire and the most current furnishing trends, Claretta lends itself to being customised with handcrafted removable covers, available in a range of colours ranging from traditional white, beige, grey and dark brown to the more fanciful yellow, orange, petroleum green and peacock blue. Configured in fabric, leather or velvet, it can be placed in a refined living area - next to a sofa, in a refined study corner - or complete the dressing table or relaxation corner of a bedroom with timeless elegance.
