Stripes is a living room seating solution with a striking design: a modern quilted sofa defined by a tubular metal structure that lifts it elegantly off the floor. Highly modular and completely dismountable, it can be customised into countless configurations for any living room: from classic linear sofas to peninsula versions, as well as end modules with pouffes. The sofa is designed to provide - in addition to traditional linear configurations with 2, 3, 4, 5 and more seats - welcoming corner compositions, both panoramic and deconstructed with 8, 10, 12 seats.
New to the 2025 collection, Stripes is the result of a collaboration between Bodema and designer Umberto Asnago, who has created an upholstered sofa with contemporary, precise lines, meticulously crafted in every detail. The padded base supports high cushions made of differentiated-density polyurethane foam. The wide armrests flow seamlessly into the low backrest. The inner side of the backrest is enhanced with vertical quilted stitching, while the outer side is smooth - an aesthetic choice that gives upholstered surfaces a refined sense of movement. The upholstery is available in fabric, velvet and leather in a wide selection of on-trend colours, confirming maximum freedom of design to suit any home interior.
A distinctive feature of Stripes’ formal design is the structural metal base, positioned in correspondence with the armrests. The sofa remains raised off the ground thanks to its tall cylindrical feet, a detail that lends an impression of lightness to the entire piece.
