George is a space-saving 3 seater sofa bed with king size mattress for two persons, characterised by 10 cm wide slim arms and generously sized loose cushions. It has a built-in fold out horizontal opening with a metal action mechanism that works by pulling the backrest and folding out a narrow depth bed ready to use. The transversal opening is designed to save up some space in small rooms without compromising on comfort.
The one motion side opening results in a 160x200 cm large bed that takes up a shallow footprint of only 180 cm. George responds to the needs of modern condo flats and apartments where square feets are valuable down to the last inch.
Beyond aesthetic and mechanical parts, a sleeper sofa’s mission is to ensure a good night's sleep. This is fully accomplished by a prestigious Simmons pocket sprung mattress, 13 cm thick and made even more comfortable by the Lap-seal technology. An innovative compression system, it consists of independently packed metal coils that respond to stress by providing optimum comfort and support without collapsing onto each other in a domino effect. This is great for king size mattresses where an excess of movements of one of the two persons can interrupt the other's sleep.

A high rate of personalisation is achieved through the upholstery, which comes in a wide selection of textiles, fabrics, leathers and precious jewel tone velvet. Plus, you can add a cover to conceal the metal parts of the pull-out frame.
