What's new in 2021

26 October 2021
Bodema collection has been joined by new furniture pieces created by three outstanding Italian designers: Giuseppe Manzoni, Umberto Asnago and Michele Mantovani. Each of them has developed a distinctive interpretation of the contemporary domestic environment, designing objects that are very different from one another, but yet complementary. Their contribution has led the company through an exciting journey, from maker to brand.
Giuseppe Manzoni is the designer behind a stunning modern sofa with a vintage soul. A tribute to the city known as a symbol of design and fashion, Milano is a modular sofa for refined interiors. This is a product that combines aesthetic and comfort, prized materials and stylish detailing. The result is there for you to see: a luxury, welcoming sofa for those who do not compromise on beauty and coziness.
With Man-Go, Michele Mantovani has created a versatile modular sofa that adapts to any living space, no matter the size or layout. The possible solutions are limitless and extremely heterogeneous, ranging from small or medium-sized 2, 3, 4 seater couches, to large and extra large sectionals.

The customizable design is further enhanced by a range of accessories. Wrap around bookcases, storage units and integrated side tables, will allow you to create a sofa that will perfectly suit your own style and needs.
Asymmetrical modules, rounded lines and variations in depth are the distinctive features of the Sound curved sofa. A collection of monolithic, almost minimalist settees, these pieces seem to have been hand moulded like clay. They embody Umberto Asnago vision of a living room as a simple, harmonious environment, where the focus is the balance between the dweller and the interior decor.
New to the 2021 collection, Ring showcases the ability of Mantovani to create pieces that become the focal point of the room. Modern style and retro inspiration come together in soft lines and welcoming shapes, skilfully blended to make the sofa and armchair timeless design icons, freed from any label and therefore timeless.
The Armchairs collection welcomes six new models, all coming in the usual choice of beautiful velvets, fabrics and leathers. Ascot and Hailey, share a love for wood and for vintage atmospheres. Lilybeth and Luna, boast a compact design and a welcoming shape. Last but not least, Giulia and Club, will offer you curved lines and generously padded cushions.
There’s also news in the Accent & End Tables section, with a choice of brand new pieces that share a common hallmark: the use of distinctive, unusual shapes.
The sofa tables range from the minimalist soul of the chunky-yet-stylish Geometric family, to the more complex volumes of the stool side tables Gitani that stand out for their pop-art flair. Less playful but absolutely unique in its refined, sculptural lines, the Cubetto will offer you a sophisticated round side table with an exquisite marble cube base.
In the Tables section you will find Otto, a 3 legged dining table with eye-catching brass pedestals and a beautifully finished marble top. For extra comfort, visit the Rugs collection, where you’ll find two newcomers: Frame and Fullprint, hand-knotted in India using the traditional Tibetan weaving technique.
The Nara collection has been expanded by its creator, Umberto Asnago, who has designed an elegant bedside table made of skilfully curved wood and leather. The bed too has been improved, with the addition of a new model featuring an upholstered headboard with decorative seams.
